POSTAGE SUMMARY REPORT

For the meters and time period selected, this report displays the number of pieces or the postage run for the top 10 postal classes.  The remaining classes are categorized as “Other”.  The results can be displayed in a bar chart, pie chart or table.  Also displayed are the pieces or postage for each month in the time period selected.

 

Data for all postal classes, including details by meter, can be displayed in the postage class report.

 

POSTAGE TREND REPORT

This report displays a graph of the number of mail pieces and postage spent for each month in the time period selected, allowing trends to be analyzed.  The average and total pieces and postage are shown in a table.

 

POSTAGE CLASS REPORT

For each postal class in the selected time period, this report displays the number of mail pieces, total postage and average postage per piece .  A detailed view shows the same information by meter within each postal class.

 

This information can be used to analyze and reduce postal expenditures, help you comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and manage expenses.

 

METER SUMMARY REPORT

This report displays the available postage balance for each meter.  This information can be used to manage postal balances and tell you which meters are used and funded.  The report also displays meter names, models, serial numbers, and software versions. 

 

Meters are grouped, and may be selected, by location.  For the time period selected, the monthly pieces or postage for each meter are graphed.

DAILY METER ACTIVITY

For the period and meters selected, this report displays the daily amounts of postage downloaded, number of mail pieces run, total postage cost and average cost per piece.  A detailed view shows the daily information for each meter.

 

METER BALANCE REPORT

For the meters and period selected, this report displays postal funding and usage by location.  It shows the beginning balance, postage funded, postage used, and ending balance for each location.  The detailed view shows this information for each meter.

 

Meter model numbers, serial numbers and software versions are available in the Meter Summary Report.

 

REFERENCE CODE REPORT

This report displays a table with the mail pieces and postage used, by date, for each reference code.  To more easily build INVIEW reports, you can assign a code to an individual meter, or a collection of meters.  Reference codes can be used to define a sets of meters.  For example, if meter groups represent geographic regions, reference codes may be assigned to designate an organizational structure such as business unit.  The detailed version of this report includes the location, meter, and model.

 

Meter Data Incomplete                     

The warning  Meter data incomplete” indicates that one or more of your operators have not connected their meters to Pitney Bowes systems during the timeframe chosen for this report.

 

To ensure complete data for your report, do the following:

1.   Click the Report Criteria link below the report to see which meters need to upload data to Pitney Bowes.

2.   Save the report so you can easily run it again after all your meters are synchronized

3.   Contact the operators of these meters and request that they connect to Pitney Bowes and get fund balances.  The meters' data will automatically be uploaded for analysis as part of getting balances.

 

As data is uploaded, the symbols will be removed from the meter list.
